The Office of the LASALLIAN ASSISTANCE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM (LAMP)

The Office of the Lasallian Assistance Management Program (LAMP) is the institutional office responsible for the administration and management of the school’s various scholarship programs, grant-in-aid, tuition discounts, student loans, and other privately funded scholarship programs.[/vc_column_text][us_separator type=”invisible”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1614527903663{padding-right: 50px !important;padding-left: 50px !important;}”]

A. Expanded Scholarship Grants Program

This scholarship grants program aims to increase the number of academic scholars from high performing feeder schools by providing 100% tuition and fees incentives to:

Eligibility:
For incoming Grade 7 – Top 10 of SY 2020-2021
For incoming Grade 8, 9 and 10 – Top 1 of SY 2020-2021
For incoming Grade 11 – Top 10 of SY 2020-2021
For incoming College – Top 10 2nd semester/final quarter of SY2020-2021 (per strand)

Documentary Requirement:
Certificate of Academic Ranking of SY2020-2021

Note: Specific academic ranking is necessary for final evaluation (scholarship application of students who failed to indicate the specific ranking will not be processed)

ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS PROGRAM APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Applicant accesses the DLSL website for the creation of DLSL online application account.
https://onlineadmissions.dlsl.edu.ph/
2. Applicant accomplishes Institutional Admissions and Testing Office (IATO) requirements for the online placement test.
3. Applicant takes the Online Placement test.
4. IATO notifies the applicant/examinee who qualifies for scholarship application based on the result of the online placement test.
5. Applicant accomplishes the pre-screening form (from lamp office template) on the link provided by the IATO
6. Applicant selects type of scholarship he/she intends to apply.
7. Scholarship Coordinator conducts preliminary screening.
8. Scholarship Coordinator advises the pre-qualified applicant to wait for the final result of their scholarship application.
9. Scholarship Coordinator issues Notice of Scholarship Acceptance (NOSA) to newly accepted academic scholars for SY 2022-2023.

Notes:
1. All scholarship applications are subject to the Scholarship Committee’s final evaluation and ranking.
2. ALL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS MUST NOT PAY THE PRE-ENROLLMENT FEE. PAYMENT OF PRE-ENROLLMENT FEE INVALIDATES THE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION.
3. A STUDENT IS ALLOWED TO APPLY IN ONE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM OF THEIR CHOICE.

NON-ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS PROGAM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

A. Saint Jaime Hilario Scholarship Grants Program (for Grade School, Junior High School and Senior High School)

Inspired by the Lasallian mission, the Office of the Lasallian Assistance Management Program continues to provide greater access to a human and Christian education to enable students from the economically disadvantaged sectors of the community to participate in the transformation of the society. To concretize this noble endeavor, LAMP initiated the rebirth of Saint Brother Jaime Hilario Scholarship Program for Grade School, Junior and Senior High School. This program ensures its commitment in offering basic Christian and Lasallian education to highly motivated and qualified elementary school graduates of Lipa City and neighboring municipalities whose economic condition hinders them from studying at De La Salle Lipa.

The scholarship grant shall cover full tuition and fees after ESC/Voucher subsidy has been deducted. The grant does not include the cost of other related learning materials as may be determined by the Integrated School unit.

Eligibility:
1. Incoming Grade School (except Grade 5), Junior High School and Senior High School (except Grade 12) students with a grade point average of 85% and with no failing grade in each quarter.
2. Family economic status is financially challenged

Documentary Requirement:
Copy of Report Card for SY 2020-2021 with computed Grade Point Average (Average should be in numerical value)

B. St. Solomon Leclerq Scholarship Grants Program (for incoming College students)

This “Non-Academic Scholarship Program” (formerly termed as Clerical Assistant) aims to give access to a Lasallian education in the College for academically qualified students from economically disadvantaged families. Qualified students for this program are entitled to 100% discount on tuition and other fees. The grantee can enjoy this benefit in exchange for clerical services rendered to the school. This program also aims to promote the value of work and its attributes during the performance of the working students’ functions so that they shall then be trained to be responsible and industrious individuals with positive attitudes toward their job.

Eligibility:
1. Incoming college freshmen with a grade point average of 85% and with no failing grade in each quarter
2. Does not have any serious physical disability and has a wholesome work attitude.
3. Family economic status is financially challenged

Documentary Requirement:
Copy of Report Card for 2nd semester SY 2020-2021 with computed Grade Point Average (Average should be in numerical value)

Notes:

1. Non-academic scholarship applicant who has a sibling who formerly enjoyed non-academic scholarship grant is automatically disqualified from applying to this type of scholarship grant.
2. BS Nursing program is not offered in this type of scholarship

NON-ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS PROGRAM APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Applicant accesses the DLSL website for the creation of DLSL online application account.

2. Applicant accomplishes Institutional Admissions and Testing Office (IATO) requirements for the online placement test.
3. Applicant takes the Online Placement test.
4. IATO notifies the applicant/examinee who qualifies for scholarship application based on the result of the online placement test.
5. Applicant accomplishes the pre-screening form on the link provided by the IATO
6. Applicant selects type of scholarship he/she intends to apply.
7. Scholarship Coordinator conducts preliminary screening.
8. Scholarship Coordinator sends the list of documentary requirements via registered email.
9. Scholarship Coordinator validates the completeness and correctness of the requirements.
10. Scholarship Coordinator provides the online interview schedule of the pre-qualified applicant via email.
11. Scholarship Coordinator advises the pre-qualified applicant to wait for the final result of their scholarship application.
12. Scholarship Coordinator issues the Notice of Scholarship Acceptance (NOSA) to newly accepted academic scholars for SY22-23.

LAMP manages the students scholarship grants program as it promotes and encourages interest in education for students planning to enroll, with a view to reducing the student’s financial obligation in recognition of his/her academic achievements. It

  • Formulates and recommends guidelines and policies of the scholarship grants program taking into account sound selection criteria, scholarship evaluation, application processes and fund appropriation.
  • Develops and recommends internal control measures to achieve cost minimization and proper fund management.
  • Conducts periodic reviews of the implementation of the school activities for the scholars to ensure the viability and sustainability of the scholarship program.
  • Conducts a preliminary evaluation and interview of applicants to determine if they satisfy the basic criteria of the scholarship program.
  • Coordinates with the Institutional Admissions and Testing Office, Office of the College and Integrated School Registrars, Finance Resource Department and other related offices on the progress and status of the applicants for, and grantees of scholarships.
  • Coordinates with sponsors, donors and benefactors on matters concerning the academic achievement of beneficiaries, financial reports, and details of the deeds of donation.
  • Convenes the Scholarship Committee for the evaluation and selection of proposed scholars/grantees for recommendation to the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Mission.
  • Establishes linkages to have access to scholarship grants, endowment sources and various other forms of financial assistance in aid of education.
  • Conducts periodic reviews of guidelines and policies of the scholarship program taking into account sound selection criteria, scholarship evaluation, application processes, and fund appropriation.
  • Updates the designated scholarship coordinators of the different divisions on the progress and status of the application for scholarship grants.
